§461.5. Exception to procedure for legislative consent
Whenever the consent of the legislature must be obtained on emergency funding
appropriations, priority changes, and adjustments to capital outlay project descriptions
resulting from recommendations of the board at a single meeting, the clerk of the House of
Representatives and the secretary of the Senate are authorized to transmit both ballots and
required documentation to the members of the legislature. The ballots shall be returned as
provided in this Chapter to the clerk of the House of Representatives and the secretary of the
Senate.
