NOTE: This provision of law was included in the Unconstitutional Statutes Biennial Report to the Legislature, dated March 14, 2016 . §1992. Alternative certification procedure A. In lieu of the certification procedures established in this Part or by administrative rules, the division may accept documentation from the applicant that it is certified by one of the following:
(1)The Department of Transportation and Development.
(2)The United States Small Business Administration's 8-A program for
certification of minority-owned firms or women-owned firms, provided that
the applicant meets the definition of "minority business enterprise" or
"women's business enterprise" in R.S. 39:1952.
