NOTE: This provision of law was included in the Unconstitutional Statutes Biennial Report to the Legislature, dated March 14, 2016 . §1984. Size and length of time in business; interim certification A. Size of business or length of time in business shall not be considered a prerequisite for certification. However, the division may require that this information be provided in order to determine whether the business qualifies for minority or women's business enterprise status under federal regulations. B.

(1)The division may promulgate rules to provide for the issuance of an interim certification for a potential business enterprise which is seeking assistance from a state financial or other direct assistance program.
