Text

A. The district shall be governed and controlled by a board of five commissioners, each of whom shall be a qualified elector of the district and a resident of Concordia Parish. B.

(1)The members of the board of commissioners shall be appointed by the state legislative delegation representing the parish of Concordia.
(2)(a) The initial members shall be appointed from a list of no more than ten nominations submitted by the police jury of Concordia Parish. The nominees submitted by the police jury shall be selected from a list of no more than fifteen nominations submitted by the Lake St. John Flotilla Committee and the Lake St. John Advisory Board.
(b)The initial members of the board shall serve as follows: three commissioners shall serve two-year terms and two commissioners shall serve four
