§3087.261. Creation; boundaries; purpose The Webster Parish Watershed District, referred to in this Part as the "district", is hereby created. The district shall consist of all of the territory of the parish of Webster. The district is established for the purpose of developing and protecting the wealth and natural resources of the district by the conservation of soil and water resources of the district, including surface and groundwater, for agricultural, recreational, commercial, industrial, and sanitary purposes.
