§792. Dental x-ray functions by dental assistants; qualifications A. Any dental assistant employed by a licensed dentist on the effective date of this Section and for a period of at least one year prior to the effective date of this Section shall be deemed to be authorized to take dental x-rays. B. Any dental assistant who does not meet the employment criteria set forth in Subsection A of this Section shall attend and successfully complete a course in x-ray function and safety approved by the board within six months after commencement of employment by a licensed dentist. Any such assistant shall be deemed to be authorized to take dental x-rays only upon compliance with this Subsection. C.
