Text

A.

(1)The Louisiana State Polygraph Board is hereby established within the office of the governor and shall consist of five members who shall be citizens of the United States and residents of the state for at least two years prior to appointment, all of whom shall be actively engaged as certified polygraphists. No two board members may be employed or affiliated with the same agency. At least one member shall be a qualified polygraphist of a governmental law enforcement agency.
(2)(a) The members shall be appointed by the governor of the state of Louisiana to serve at his pleasure.
(b)Each appointment by the governor shall be submitted to the Senate for confirmation.
