A.The board upon the recommendation of the committee, shall issue a license in training to an individual who has not fulfilled the educational requirements to take a license examination or needs to obtain full-time comprehensive experience under supervision, or both, in any license category. A license in training shall allow an individual to engage in the practice of clinical laboratory science under supervision. The length of duration of each such license in training, its renewal, if any, and the specific requirements for appropriate supervision for each category of licensure shall be established by the board upon the recommendation of the committee by the promulgation of rules and regulations.
