§ 36:357 — Leadership

§357. Leadership
A.Each office within the Department of Conservation and Energy, except the
executive office of the secretary and the office of administration shall be under the immediate
supervision and direction of a director who shall be appointed by the secretary and shall be
an unclassified employee. The secretary may issue a directive clearly identifying each
director and specifically delegating the authority of such director.
B.The secretary shall employ, appoint, remove, assign, and promote from any
funding sources authorizing administrative costs such personnel as is necessary for the
efficient administration of this Chapter. In addition to any other powers, duties, functions,
and responsibilities defined by the secretary.
