§308. Offices; purposes and functions A. The purposes for which the offices of Louisiana Works are created shall be as set forth in this Section. B.

(1)The office of workforce development shall perform the functions of the state relating to the administration, enforcement, supervision, and direction of programs related to the formulation of standards and policies promoting the welfare of wage-earning women; the employment of individuals with disabilities; vocational rehabilitation; occupational information services; independent living; blind services; customer service delivery; employment; training; minimum wage standards; welfare of workers and labor disputes, including the promotion of voluntary conciliation of disputes; regulation and certification of private employment agencies; minor
