Text

Nothing herein contained shall be construed to deprive the parish of Plaquemines or its governing authority of any rights or powers which they presently have or exert within the corporate limits of the district, or to confer further police power upon the governing authority of the district. The governing authority of the Plaquemines Port, Harbor and Terminal District shall have the right to enter into any and all contracts and agreements with the parish of Plaquemines, the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans, and any other public subdivisions or authorities relative to any and all matters which lie within the jurisdiction of the district and the governing authority thereof.
