§9106. Funding; definitions; emergency telephone service charge A. As used in this Section, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

(1)"District" means the communication district created pursuant to R.S. 33:9101.
(2)"E911" means Enhanced Universal Emergency Number Service or Enhanced 911 Service that is a telephone exchange communications service whereby a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) designated by the customer may receive telephone calls dialed to the telephone number 911.
