Text

Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary regarding the Beauregard Parish War Memorial Civic Center, the governing authority of Beauregard Parish shall appoint ten citizens of the parish or the territory of the ward affected to serve as the board of control. Initial appointees shall serve for terms of one, two, three, four, and five years, and their successors shall be appointed for terms of five years.
