§4569.1. Board of commissioners; membership; officers; compensation; personnel A. The control and management of the affairs of the district shall be vested in a board of commissioners, referred to in this Section and R.S. 33:4569.2 and 4569.3 as the "board". The members of the governing authority of the parish of Iberville shall serve as the members of the board. B.

(1)The board shall prescribe rules fixing its meetings and procedure and may elect such officers as may be needed, including a chairman, from among its membership. A majority of the membership of the board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. Members of the board shall serve without compensation or reimbursement of expenses incurred.
