§423.9. City of Crowley; authority over police personnel by chief of police
Notwithstanding the provisions of R.S. 33:423 or any other provision of law to the
contrary, in and for the city of Crowley, the chief of police shall appoint, discipline, and
discharge police personnel subject to the budgetary limitations established by the mayor and
board of alderman pertaining to the number of allotted positions for the police department.
