Text
The director shall, subject to the rules, determine the qualifications for admission to any test. Subject to limitations as to age and other requirements and qualifications fixed by the rules in the interests of the service, admission to tests shall be open to all persons who possess the required qualifications and may be lawfully appointed to a position in the class for which a list is to be established. The director, subject to the rules, may reject the application of any person for admission to tests of fitness or refuse to test any applicant, or may cancel the eligibility of any eligible on any employment list, who is found to lack any of the qualifications prescribed as requirements for admission to the tests for the class for which he has applied, or who is physically unfit to perfor
