§601. Public liability, bodily injury, and property damage insurance Parish school boards, levee boards, and other public bodies be and they are hereby authorized, in their discretion, to enter into and consummate contracts for public liability and/or bodily injury insurance, and property damage insurance, covering the operation, use or maintenance of motor vehicles owned and operated by such boards. Acts 1950, No. 35, §1.
