§4721. Logo for state products A. The Department of Agriculture and Forestry may develop and adopt an official logo for:

(1)Products grown, manufactured, or produced in Louisiana.
(2)Agricultural related activities conducted in Louisiana. B. The logo may be registered as a trademark and appropriate steps may be taken to protect the logo from misuse or infringement. C. The department may license the use of the logo and may adopt rules for determining which products and which growers, producers, or manufacturers will be allowed to use the logo. D. The department by rule may establish fees to be charged for the use of the logo. E. The department may spend funds to promote the logo. F. Repealed by Acts 1997, No. 1116, §2.
