Text

A. The ombudsman shall have immediate access to any person living in a licensed facility described in this Chapter in the reasonable conduct of the functions and responsibilities of the ombudsman, shall inform the administrator or person in charge upon entering the facility, group home, or community home, and shall perform the ombudsman functions and responsibilities in the manner that is least disruptive of care and activities. B. In performing the functions and responsibilities of the ombudsman, the ombudsman may engage in the following actions:

(1)Communicate privately and confidentially with persons living at the facilities.
(2)Review or obtain any books, files, medical, social, or financial records, or other relevant records pertaining to a particular person, provided written consen
