A.Except as provided in Subsection B of this Section, no distributor, device owner, or service entity license shall be renewed or issued to any person, other than a corporation, pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter unless the division finds that the person applying has resided and been domiciled in the state of Louisiana for a period of two years prior to the date of the application. If the person applying is a corporation, then a distributor, device owner, or service entity license may be renewed or issued to an otherwise qualified and suitable corporation if a majority of the common and preferred stock is owned by an individual person or persons who have resided and been domiciled in the state for a period of two years prior to the date of application.
