§801. Legislative intent and purpose The legislative intent and purpose of this Chapter are to provide a structure for the business relations between a wholesaler and a supplier of beer. Regulation in this area is considered necessary for the following reasons:

(1)To maintain stability and healthy competition in the beer industry in this state.

(2)To promote and maintain a sound, stable, and viable three-tier system of distribution of beer to the public.

(3)To promote the public health, safety, and welfare. Acts 1993, No. 132, §1, eff. May 26, 1993.

§801. Legislative intent and purpose
