§1168.8. Time to file claims

A.Upon the default of a self-insured employer, the assistant secretary r shall notify all persons who may have claims against such employer and who have not filed proper proofs thereof, to present the same to him, at a place specified in such notice, within four months from the date of the seizure of the security, or, if the assistant secretary shall certify that it is necessary, within such longer time as the assistant secretary shall prescribe. The last day for the filing of proofs of claims shall be specified in the notice. Such notice shall be given in a manner determined by the assistant secretary .
