§691.10. Confidential treatment A.

(1)Documents, materials, or other information in the possession or control of the department that are obtained by or disclosed to the commissioner or any other person in the course of an examination or investigation made pursuant to R.S. 22:691.8 and all information reported or provided to the commissioner pursuant to R.S. 22:691.4(B)(12) and (13), 691.6, 691.7, and 691.9.1 shall be recognized as proprietary information containing trade secrets, shall be confidential by law and privileged, shall not be subject to subpoena, and shall not be subject to discovery or admissible in evidence in any private civil action. However, the commissioner is authorized to use the documents, materials, or other information in the furtherance of any regulatory or legal act
