This Uniform Insurers Liquidation Law, R.S. 22:2038 through 2044, shall be so interpreted and construed as to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law of those states that enact it. NOTE: Former R.S. 22:2044 redesignated as R.S. 22:404 by Acts 2008, No. 415, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 2009.
