§1963. Unfair methods and unfair or deceptive acts and practices prohibited No person shall engage in this state in any trade practice which is defined in this Part to be an unfair method of competition or an unfair or deceptive act or practice in the conduct of the business of insurance, including unauthorized insurance as provided in R.S. 22:1902 et seq. or the failure to maintain professional liability insurance, if such coverage is required pursuant to R.S. 22:1570.1.
