§ 22:1910 — Validity of contracts illegally effectuated

A contract of insurance effectuated by an unauthorized insurer in violation of the provisions of this Code shall be voidable except at the instance of the insurer. NOTE: Former R.S. 22:1910 redesignated as R.S. 22:391 by Acts 2008, No. 415, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 2009.
