§1581. Regulation of bail enforcement agents A. The commissioner of insurance is hereby authorized to adopt such regulations, in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, as are necessary to effectuate the requirements of this Subpart to regulate bail enforcement agents. B. The regulations adopted by the commissioner shall include provisions governing:

(1)Continuing education requirements for bail enforcement agents.
(2)Bail enforcement activities in this state by nonresident individuals.
(3)The notification of local law enforcement agencies.
(4)In-state bail enforcement procedures.
(5)Penalties for the violation of the regulation. NOTE: Former R.S. 22:1581 redesignated as R.S. 22:343 by Acts 2008, No. 415, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 2009.
