§1274. Prohibited policy provision
A.An insurer shall not include a provision in any policy of property insurance that
prohibits an insured from hiring a public adjuster for services provided pursuant to the
provisions of this Title.
B.Subsection A of this Section does not apply to commercial insurance policies
written by any surplus lines insurer as defined in R.S. 22:46.
