§ 22:1243 — Eligibility

Louisiana·Title 22 Insurance

The following are eligible for the program:

(1)Employees of the state of Louisiana, and political subdivisions thereof, who have not been covered by health insurance for at least one year and are eligible for coverage through the Office of Group Benefits.
(2)Employers who have not offered group health insurance coverage to their employees for at least one year.
(3)Employers who are not eligible under Paragraph (2) of this Section but who employ persons with an annual family income of not more than two hundred percent of the federal poverty level may offer the insurance only to those employees whose family income is not more than two hundred percent of the federal poverty level even if there are employees whose annual family income exceeds two hundred percent of the federal poverty level
