§5028. Other student eligibility requirements
A.To be eligible for an award pursuant to this Chapter, a student shall not have any
criminal conviction, except for misdemeanor traffic violations and, if the student has been
in the United States Armed Forces and has separated from such service, he shall have
received an honorable discharge or general discharge under honorable conditions.
B.The student shall apply for a federal grant prior to receiving a grant of state funds
under this Section unless the student can demonstrate that he does not qualify for federal
grant aid.
