A.

(1)At the time a chartering group submits its initial proposal or application to operate a charter school to the appropriate chartering authority pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter, the chartering authority shall notify each state senator and state representative in whose district the charter school is to be located that such proposal or application has been submitted. Such notification shall be limited to the date the proposal or application was submitted, the chartering authority to which the proposal or application was submitted, the type of charter school the chartering group seeks to operate, and the location of the proposed charter school.
