The vocational-technical institutions referred to as the Memorial Area Vocational School, located in New Roads, and the J.
E.Jumonville, Sr. Technical Institute, a branch of the Memorial Area Vocational School, located in Port Allen, shall be combined into a single budgetary unit and shall be renamed the "Jumonville-Memorial Technical Institute". Subject to change by the Board of Supervisors of Community and Technical Colleges, the Jumonville-Memorial Technical Institute shall continue to offer and provide the prison vocational programs at Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, Hunt Correctional Center, and the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women at St. Gabriel.
