§1970.9. Funding formula A. The school board of the Louis Armstrong High School for the Arts annually shall prepare and adopt a recommended formula to adequately fund the educational programs at the school. The formula shall be identical to that adopted by the Jimmy D. Long, Sr. Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts in Natchitoches. B.
(1)The recommended formula shall be submitted to the State Board of Elementary
and Secondary Education for review and approval and shall be returned to the school board
on a timely basis for submission of the annual budget request for the school. Prior to
approval of the formula by the state board, the state board may return the formula adopted
by the school board to the school board and may recommend to the school board an amended
