A.

(1)The state Department of Education shall employ a health and physical education coordinator who shall be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and physical education curricula for all grade levels in the public elementary and secondary schools in the state.
(2)At a minimum, the health and physical education coordinator shall possess at least one of the following qualifications:
(a)A doctorate in health and physical education, kinesiology, or a highly related field, and at least three years of classroom experience teaching health or physical education.
