§105.2. Local public school boards; agreements for the management and operation of low-performing schools
A.The school board of a city, parish, or other local public system with one or more
low-performing schools may enter into an agreement with the school board of a higher-performing public school system for the management and day-to-day operation of any or all
of such schools, provided the higher-performing school system received a letter grade of "C"
or higher for the previous two years.
B.The school board of each respective school system shall mutually develop the
terms and scope of the management agreement, which shall be subject to the approval of a
majority of the members of each school board.
