§1085. Payment for care and treatment

A.The Department of Children and Family Services or Louisiana Department of Health is hereby authorized to make payments, at the rates established under R.S. 15:1084, for the care and treatment of children placed by the Department of Children and Family Services or Louisiana Department of Health in child caring agencies, child placing agencies, maternity homes, and shelter care facilities which conform to the requirements of this Part.
B.Payments shall be made on a monthly basis and shall represent reimbursements for services provided during the previous month. Participating agencies shall submit such information as the Department of Children and Family Services or Louisiana Department of Health may require to document claims for reimbursement.
