Text
The board of commissioners of the school may return to the juvenile court of the parish any inmate committed to the school with recommendation for the transfer of the inmate to the state reformatory, to a hospital for persons with mental illness, to an institution for the care of persons with intellectual disabilities, or other appropriate institution to which the inmate might have been committed in the first instance, and thereupon, the court may cause the inmate to be committed to an appropriate institution or dealt with according to law.
