A. As used in this Section, "credit card" shall mean any instrument or device whether known as a credit card, credit plate, bank service card, banking card, check guarantee card, debit card, or by any other name, including an account number, issued with or without a fee by an issuer for the use of a cardholder in obtaining money, goods, services, or anything of value on credit or for use in an automated banking device to obtain any of the services offered through the device. B. No person shall make or cause to be made, either directly or indirectly, any false statement as to his identity or that of any other person, firm, or corporation, knowing it to be false and with the intent that it be relied on, for the purpose of procuring the issuance of a credit card.
