§366. Public office and public support, disqualification It shall be the public policy of this state to discourage the public employment of persons legally determined under the provisions of R.S. 14:358 through 373 to be Communists or Subversive Persons, and no official or employee of the state of Louisiana or any political subdivision thereof having the authority to hire and fire other employees shall hire or retain on the official payrolls any person about whom the courts have made any such determination under R.S. 14:358 through 373, and further, no official or employee of the state of Louisiana or any political subdivision thereof who has the authority and responsibility to pay out any public funds for any purpose shall pay out any such funds in any amount for any purpose to any person
