Text

A. The clerk of court of the parish of East Baton Rouge may, with the assent and concurrence of the governing authority of the parish, establish and maintain branch offices in the cities of Baker and Zachary and that portion of the parish south of Florida Boulevard and east and southeast of Airline Highway located in Ward 3, Precinct 11. B. The branch offices shall be used only for such of the following purposes as may be designated by the governing authority authorizing the branch office:

(1)Filing of legal pleadings.
(2)Filing of documents for recordation.
(3)Computer access of records of the clerk in his capacity as recorder.
(4)Issuance of marriage licenses. C. Provision of space for and funding for such branch offices of the clerk of court shall be in accordance with the existing
