§5214. Online Dispute Resolution Pilot Project Program
A.In a court participating in the program, parties to small claims proceedings shall
participate in the program unless they have been exempted by the court due to an undue
hardship. An undue hardship exists when a party cannot access the online system or
participate in the online process without substantial difficulty or expense.
B.If the court exempts any party from participating in the program, the clerk of court
shall transfer the matter to be set for a trial de novo.
