Text
From the final judgment of the court an appeal shall lie to the supreme court where permitted by the constitution of this state, otherwise to the court of appeal. No appeal to the court of appeal or the supreme court shall be allowed unless the petition therefor is filed within ten days from the date on which the judgment of the court is entered and only if the party taking the appeal has the record certified to the proper appellate court and his brief filed therein within twenty days from the date on which the judgment of the court is entered, or such shorter time as may be required by the appellate court. The appellee shall have fourteen days in which to file a reply brief and the case shall be heard no later than seven days thereafter. The court of appeal shall render a decision within
