§2622. Territorial jurisdiction of the justice of the peace courts of Plaquemines Parish
A.The territorial jurisdiction of the several justice of the peace courts within the parish of
Plaquemines, as they exist on August 1, 2024, shall continue in effect until changed in accordance
with the law.
B.Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, the justice of the peace in Ward Three shall
serve as the justice of the peace in Ward Three and Ward Four. The territorial limits of the justice
of the peace in Ward Three shall include the territorial limits of Ward Four.
