§2563.5. Judge; qualifications and salary A. The office of judge of the court is hereby established. The judge shall be elected by the qualified electors of the parish of Ascension. The term of office of the judge shall be six years. He shall possess the same qualifications that are required of district judges. B. He shall receive an annual salary of not less than sixty-eight thousand five hundred twenty-two dollars, payable monthly on his own warrant by the state of Louisiana, the parish of Ascension, the municipalities within the parish of Ascension, and the judicial expense fund for the Parish Court for the Parish of Ascension, apportioned as follows:
