§1587.1. Juvenile Court of the parish of Orleans; clerk of court; bailiffs; minute clerks; stenographers and other personnel; probation officers
A.There shall be a clerk of court whose title shall be Clerk of the Juvenile Court for
the parish of Orleans who shall be chosen and appointed by the concurrence of the judges,
and the salary of the clerk of court shall be in conformance with the adopted unclassified pay
plan of the city of New Orleans and payable by the city of New Orleans. The city of New
Orleans shall in its annual budget provide a sum sufficient for the salary of said clerk of
court.
B.Each judge of the court may appoint a bailiff, a stenographer and such
stenographic, clerical, and other personnel as may be deemed necessary to make the
functions of the court effective and p
