A. An unincorporated association may execute and file a statement of authority to mortgage, hypothecate, encumber, donate, or otherwise transfer an interest in immovable property in the name of the unincorporated association. B. An interest in immovable property held in the name of an unincorporated association may be mortgaged, hypothecated, encumbered, donated, or otherwise transferred by a person so authorized in a statement of authority filed in the conveyance records in the parish in which the immovable property is situated. C. A statement of authority shall set forth all of the following:

(1)The name of the unincorporated association.
(2)The federal tax identification number, if any, of the unincorporated association.
