Text

A. Members of the Teachers' Retirement System who participate in the alternative contribution plan must meet the same minimum eligibility requirements as members of the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana regular plan in order to be eligible for regular and disability benefits and survivor benefits. B. The accrual rate for benefits from the regular plan for members who participate in the alternative contribution plan shall be one and twenty-five hundreths percent per year. C.

(1)Any disability benefit received by a participant in the alternative contribution plan shall not exceed twenty-five percent of his average compensation.
