Text

The said Commissioner of Finance shall be Treasurer of said Board of Trustees and custodian of all funds belonging to said Pension and Relief Fund; he shall deposit the funds in such depositories as may be designated by said Board and shall disburse funds belonging to said Pension and Relief Fund only upon warrant of the Secretary of said Board, countersigned by the President thereof. The official bond of the said Commissioner of Finance shall stand as and be security for the faithful performance, by the said Commissioner of Finance, of his duties as Treasurer of the said Board of Trustees, or in lieu thereof a valid bond in the sum of ten thousand dollars may be furnished.
