§3431. Firemen's pension and relief fund for the city of Shreveport; creation From July 27, 1938, the assets, funds, monies, and properties presently constituting the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund of the City of Shreveport, Louisiana, shall, together with the funds, proceeds, and revenues hereinafter provided for, constitute and be "The Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund of the City of Shreveport;" for the pensioning of members with disabilities, members who are superannuated, and/or retired members of the Fire Department of the City of Shreveport, operators of the alarm system, and their widows and/or orphans and for the relief and aid of members of the fire department in the case of temporary disability.
