§3221. Firemen's pension and relief fund for the city of Houma; creation There is hereby created a Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund for the City of Houma, Louisiana, and a public corporation to be known as the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund of the City of Houma, Louisiana, which corporation shall be vested with the power to administer the fund herein provided for, to sue and be sued, to buy and sell securities for investment of the surplus monies of said fund, to allot disability payments and pensions as hereinafter set forth, to employ necessary clerical and professional services and fix the compensation of same. Designated from Acts 1973, No. 139, §1 by Acts 1991, No. 74, §3, eff. June 25, 1991.
